The Safari Collection

From sharing your breakfast with a friendly giraffe to hot-air ballooning over the Masai Mara Great Migration, guests of The Safari Collection are in for a wealth of unforgettable experiences.

Comprising four luxurious properties in Kenya, The Safari Collection is committed to delivering unique and superior travel adventures. Travellers arriving in Nairobi can begin their safari in style at Giraffe Manor, whose floor-to-ceiling windows not only let in bright African sunlight but the heads and necks of inquisitive giraffes too – a once-in-a-lifetime encounter!

The Safari Collection’s other three lodges have more remote settings. Close to the Serengeti, Sala’s Camp is in prime position for the annual migration of wildebeest, which thunders past camp from June to September. Sasaab, meanwhile, is located in the heart of the wild Samburu where game viewing is blended with cultural interactions, star gazing and massages-with-a-view. Solio Lodge lies in a private reserve north of Nairobi and has a fine reputation as home to Africa’s Big 5.

Founded out of a passion to share the magic of Africa, The Safari Collection also seeks to make a meaningful contribution to the conservation of Kenya’s wildlife and traditional cultures. By upholding sustainable environmental practices and providing work opportunities to local Kenyans, The Safari Collection plays an important role in protecting the environment for future generations.

Moreover, The Safari Collection pays special attention to the plight of Kenya’s big cats. Realising that these predators attract most visitors to Kenya, The Safari Collection supports conservation projects that not only directly conserve big cats and address the primary causes of their decline but also meet the needs of the surrounding communities who live side by side with them.
