End off your holiday relaxing on strikingly beautiful Benguerra Island in the Bazaruto Archipelago. Enjoy lazy afternoons in beachside salas, scuba dive and snorkel in clear tropical waters, or head out on a deep-sea fishing excursion.

Day to Day Itinerary

Days 1-2

Explore the Panorama Route

Fly into Nelspruit and collect your hire car before driving to Cybele Forest Lodge and Spa, located at the heart of the Panorama Route. With its aim of leaving you feeling relaxed and fully charged, Cybele is an ideal place to go before a safari.

Make sure to take a trip to some of the amazing places on the Panorama Route; don't miss God's Window and the dramatic Blyde River Canyon. Back at the lodge you can go on a forest walk with a picnic lunch and return for massages and luxurious treatments at the spa.

Days 3-5

Go on safari in Kruger

Continue this morning to Lion Sands River Lodge, located on the banks of the Sabie River in the southern section of the game-rich Sabi Sands Private Game Reserve, adjoining the Kruger National Park.

You don't even have to leave the lodge for excellent wildlife sightings: it's not uncommon to spot an elephant or giraffe near camp while you're relaxing in a lounger alongside the swimming pool.

This Big 5 conservation area is exclusive to guests of Lion Sands so you won't be stuck with crowds of other vehicles when you go on game drives. And between game viewing activities, you even can treat yourself to a session at the lodge health spa or have a workout at the gym.

Day 6

Spend a night at the Peech

Today you will transfer to the Peech Hotel in the upscale neighbourhood of Melrose in Johannesburg where you can relax before travelling to Benguerra Island.

The hotel features a large swimming pool, bistro restaurant and champagne bar.

Days 7-11

Relax on the Benguerra Island

Drive back to KMIA and catch your flight to Vilanculos. On arrival, take a short scenic helicopter flight from the mainland to Azura Lodge, Benguerra Island.

Enjoy 5-days lazing on the sand or, if you're more adventurous, go scuba-diving and fishing. Azura has magnificent villas, each opening onto a private pool and wide beach. Meals are largely made up of delicious seafood - make sure to try the local beer at the magical Star Bar.

Day 12

Return to Johannesburg

After one last day of relaxation, you'll fly back to Johannesburg where your adventure comes to an end.
