Day to Day Itinerary

Day 1

All aboard the Blue Train

Arrive at the Pretoria Station and enjoy pre-departure drinks and snacks in The Blue Train Lounge before being assisted to your suite by a butler. After a delectable brunch, spend the afternoon relaxing as you watch the scenery glide past. Enjoy mid-afternoon high tea in the luxurious Lounge Car.

Arrive in Kimberley for a brief stop where you'll board an old-style tram for a ride through this quaint town to the mine. Marvel at the famous Kimberley Hole from an enclosed ramp. Return to the Blue Train in time to freshen up a bit before dinner. Meal time, particularly dinner, is quite an elegant affair and men are requested to wear a jacket and tie.

Day 2

Let the Mother City welcome you

Enjoy a delicious breakfast in the dining car on a first come, first served basis or for some privacy, request to have your breakfast in your suite. Spend the rest of the morning thinking of some exciting activities you'd like to do while in the Mother City.

The Blue Train will arrive at Cape Town Station at approximately midday, giving you the rest of the day to enjoy those activities. Upon arrival your butler will assist you off the train and accompanying you to the Blue Train Lounge.
