Magnificent Amboseli & Mara Retreat

Arrive in the Kenyan capital, Nairobi and transfer by road to the southern part of the country. You’ll spend the next 2 nights at Amboseli Porini Camp in the Selenkay Conservation Area. Enjoy lunch at the camp before heading out on a guided walk and village tour in the company of a Maasai warrior who will shed insight into the fascinating Maasai culture.

Start your day with an early breakfast before heading out on a spectacular morning game drive through the famous Amboseli National Park. Explore this vast park as you search for elephant, lion and other wildlife. Stop along the way at a scenic spot for a picnic as you enjoy the view of the snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro in the distance.

Go on an evening game drive through the Selenkay Conservancy. Enjoy a refreshing drink as you experience a magnificent sunset, before continuing your game drive into the evening for the chance to see some of the nocturnal species like aardvarks, caracals and bat-eared foxes.

Awaken to the sounds of nature before transferring by road back to Nairobi for lunch at the well known Carnivore Restaurant. Proceed to the Wilson Airport for an afternoon flight to the scenic Masai Mara, and the intimate Mara Porini Camp. Venture into the Ol Kinyei Conservancy on an afternoon game drive followed by sundowners at a scenic spot and an evening game drive back to the camp for dinner.

Explore the vast plains and rolling hills of the Masai Mara in a safari vehicle as you search for the Big 5 and other wildlife. You also have the option of going on a hot-air balloon safari followed by a champagne breakfast (additional charge).

Embark on another game drive through the Mara and further explore its wildlife-rich eco-system. Depending on your chosen travel dates, you may even witness the spectacular annual wildebeest migration (July to November).
