Day to Day Itinerary

Day 1

Say hello to Botswana

Meet and greet in Namibia's inviting capital, Windhoek, before heading east toward the Botswana border. Gaze out at the beautiful countryside while you drive to your lodge in Ghanzi. In the evening, the local San community will entertain you with their traditional tribal dances.

Days 2-4

Become immersed in the Okavango Delta

Travel north-east to reach Maun, the gateway to the Okavango Delta. Spend the night here and prepare for an unforgettable excursion to the Delta - the largest inland delta in the world. In the morning, you’ll take a short flight in a small plane that takes you over the Delta so you can enjoy views of this water wonderland from the air before you explore it on the ground.

The afternoon is spent on a nature walk and guided boat cruise. If water levels allow, take a traditional mokoro (dug-out canoe) trip for an authentic Delta experience.

Day 5

Sleep under a leafy Baobob ceiling

Enjoy one last scenic plane ride to return to Maun before driving toward Gweta, where you'll be overwhelmed by the green wonderland of Planet Baobab. A relaxing bush walk will teach you more about this magical haven.

Day 6

Explore the Chobe National Park water

Drive further north to Kasane in the Chobe National Park. Sit back and enjoy a beautiful sunset river cruise on the Chobe River as you look out for hippos, buffalo and elephants on the river banks.

Days 7-8

Gaze up at the mighty Victoria Falls

An optional morning game drive provides you with one last look at Chobe National Park's wildlife before you depart for Zimbabwe. Arrive at the famous Victoria Falls where you’ll have your pick of thrilling activities with which to fill the next two days.

Victoria Falls – or ‘The Smoke That Thunders’ - is known as Africa’s adrenalin capital, so you’ll have no shortage of things to see and do here.

Days 9-10

Experience the city

An early morning sees you driving back into Botswana and heading south toward Palapye, otherwise known as the Martinsdrift, the border post for South Africa. Overnight in a vibrant camp and get the opportunity to enjoy a traditional South African braai.

Enter South Africa early the next morning and head for the thriving metropolis of Johannesburg. You’ll be spending the night here and have the opportunity to explore the buzzing night life in the city.

Day 11

Return to nature

Leave Johannesburg's bustle behind as you drive through the picturesque Mpumalanga region heading to the spectacular Kruger National Park. Arrive at the Kwa Madwala Game Reserve just south of the Kruger in the afternoon. In the evening, head out on a game drive, keeping your eyes peeled for the nocturnal animals.

Day 12-13

Be immersed in the Kruger National Park

Spend the morning on a guided game walk before heading for the Kruger National Park itself. An afternoon game drive will give you the chance to search the bush from the elevated truck for sightings of Africa's big cats and members of the Big 5.

More game viewing activities make up the most part of your next day as you search for the animals you haven't yet come across. With 114 species roaming this reserve, your day will definitely be filled with excitement.

Day 14

Travel along the Panorama Route

Wave goodbye to the wilderness as you start your journey back to Johannesburg. This time, however, you'll pass through the scenic Panorama Route, stopping at the Blyde River Canyon on the way. Gaze at formations like God's Window and the Three Rondavels which make for excellent photographic opportunities. On arrival in Johannesburg your tour comes to an end.
