Settle in and get your bearings before heading off to start your adventures and uncovering the treasures of Cape Town. You could relax on city beaches, go hiking up Table Mountain or glide to the top via cable car. Say farewell to the Mother City and make your way to Franschhoek Country House and Villas, a beautiful restored manor house and former perfumery set in the Cape Winelands town of Franschhoek, founded by the French Huguenots and now South Africa's premier fine food and wine destination and home to one of the world's top 100 restaurants.

Spend the next two days in sheer bliss, indulging your senses with scrumptious meals, full-bodied wines and serene countryside views. The ambience is one of a French provincial village, complete with water features, fountains, cobblestones and olive trees.

There is a swimming pool and spa on hand to provide lazy relaxation, and you can also visit nearby wine estates in and around Franschhoek or simply stroll around the charming town itself.
