Situated in the heart of the Addo Elephant National Park, Gorah is a premier lodge offering luxury tented accommodation and fantastic game viewing activities.

Addo is home to the densest elephant population in the world and is a malaria-free area. You'll spend your time exploring the park on game drives as you search for elephant and Africa's Big 5.

A short trip to the ocean will give you the opportunity to spot great white sharks and southern right whales.

Day 3

Transer to Kwandwe Private Reserve

Enjoy one last delicious breakfast at Gorah Elephant Camp before embarking on a scenic drive to Kwandwe Great Fish River Lodge. You'll spend the following four nights here, staying against the aloe-studded banks of the Great Fish River in the beautiful malaria-free Kwandwe Reserve.

Days 4-6

See South Africa's national bird

Set along the banks of the Great Fish River, a stay at Kwandwe ensures complete privacy and wonderful views. Kwandwe is home to a flourishing population of South Africa's national bird, the Blue Crane, and they share 49 000 acres of restored farmland with thousands of other animals, including lion, black and white rhino, buffalo and elephant.

On the final day of your stay at the lodge (day 6), you will be reunited with Alan Weyer as you join him on his Frontiers at Kwandwe tour, delving further into the Eastern Cape's rich past. This tour features two game drives, visits to military forts and towns and trips to sites of ancient San rock art.
