Day to Day Itinerary

Day 1

Arrive in Franschhoek

Your adventure begins today as you touch down in Cape Town and collect your rental car. Head to the Cape's wine country as you drive to the charming town of Franschhoek where you'll spend three nights at the luxury La Residence guesthouse.
Days 2-3

Play golf in wine country

Kick back and relax at La Residence as you soak up the atmosphere of the picturesque Franschhoek valley and visit some of the Western Cape's top golf courses.

Paarl's Pearl Valley Golf Estate comes highly recommended. Since it first opened at the beginning of November 2003, this Jack Nicklaus signature course's fast, challenging greens and carefully considered layout have met with critical acclaim. Pearl Valley offers rewarding golf in a truly spectacular setting.

Other standout estates include De Zalze in Stellenbosch, Erinvale in Somerset West and Steenberg just outside cosmopolitan Cape Town - all of which have earned a reputation for their beautiful scenery, fine dining and top-notch golf.

Return to La Residence for a relaxing massage, a refreshing dip in the pool or a stroll around the landscaped grounds before sitting down to a relaxed, gourmet dinner in the evening.

Day 4

Travel to the Kruger

Return to Cape Town International this morning where you'll drop off your hire car and fly to Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport, just outside the town of Nelspruit.

Once here you'll collect another rental car and make the half-hour drive to Oliver's Restaurant and Lodge near the world-renowned Kruger National Park.

Day 5

Golfing beside the Kruger Park

A stay at Oliver's Restaurant and Lodge offers nothing but world-class cuisine, relaxing spa treatments and the chance to spend a memorable day out on the unique and exclusive Leopard Creek Golf Course. Situated on the southern border of the Kruger National Park, Leopard Creek blends in beautifully with its surroundings.

Hippos and crocodiles can be seen basking in and around the course's water hazards, while the towering indigenous trees that line its fairways are home to a fantastic variety of birds.

Leopard Creek boasts plenty of impressive scenery but its 505m par-five 13th stands out as one of the most visually striking holes in South Africa. Its green is elevated 32m above the edge of the Crocodile River, providing fantastic views of the adjacent Kruger National Park, and with a bit of luck you may catch sight of a herd of elephants as they stop to quench their thirst.

Days 6-8

Enjoy a big game safari

Leave Oliver's behind today as you make your way to the luxurious Lion Sands Ivory Lodge in the Sabi Sands Private Game Reserve.

Explore this incredible reserve on thrilling 4x4 game drives in search of Africa's Big 5 and enjoy guided walking safaris to learn more about the region's fascinating ecosystem.

Return to the lodge where you can relax and unwind with a rejuvenating spa treatment or massage at the health spa.

Enjoy delicious breakfasts and dinners in a variety of intimate locations or be treated to an unforgettable meal out under the stars.

Day 9

Head off to Mauritius

This morning you will drive back to the Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport and drop off your rental car. Board your flight and jet off to Mauritius via Johannesburg.

Touch down at Mauritius International Airport where you will be met by a Go2Africa representative for your transfer to Le Prince Maurice - your home for the following five nights.

Days 10-13

Play golf in paradise

Check in at beautiful and luxurious Le Prince Maurice on Mauritius' East Coast - a wonderful base from which to enjoy not only golf but also exciting watersports.

Some of the fantastic courses you'll find here include The Legend at the nearby Constance Belle Mare Plage resort - its manicured fairways shaded by lush indigenous forest - and The Links - known for its open spaces and mounds of volcanic rock that dot its gently undulating terrain.

Ernie Els' recently opened Four Seasons Golf Club at Anahita offers exciting golf in an exclusive, idyllic setting. The course's meticulous design encourages precise play and rewards risk-taking while remaining eminently playable for both amateurs and veterans alike.

When you're not out on the course, you can lounge on the island's pristine beaches, take a dip in the warm Indian Ocean or enjoy snorkelling, scuba diving and a range of other watersports to get your heart racing.

Day 14
