Day to Day Itinerary

Day 1

Escape to the wild Northern Kruger

Board your flight in Johannesburg and travel directly to the stunning Camp Jabulani in the uncrowded Kampana Private Game Reserve.  Camp Jabulani is a superior safari lodge in the private reserve and offers spectacular bird watching and game viewing experience.

Days 2-4

Get close to an elephant

With only 6 suites a stay at Camp Jabulani is an intimate and exclusive affair. Each designed with comfort and elegance in mind. Otherwise, relax on the main deck overlooking the dry river bed where the wildlife roams nearby.

Spend your days exploring this stunning reserve searching for the Big 5 and other wildlife. Visit the Hoedspruit Endangered Species Centre to learn about the region's conservation efforts. For a unique experience head out on an elephant-back night safari. An opportunity that is bound to be a highlight of your African safari experience.

Day 5

Spend a night in Johannesburg

Arrive in Johannesburg today after a short flight from Camp Jabulani and transfer to the centrally located Peech Hotel for your overnight stay in Johannesburg. Spend the day exploring the area and enjoy the excellent shopping experience that Johannesburg offers. Return to the hotel in the evening for a delicious meal in the bistro-style restaurant before turning in for the night.

Day 6

Journey to the edge of the Kalahari

Transfer from the Peech Hotel to the airport for your connecting flight to Tswalu Private Game Reserve on the edge of the Kalahari desert. Spend four nights here at the luxury Motse Lodge.

Days 7-9

Sleep out under the clear Kalahari sky

A stay at Motse Lodge provides the chance to explore the beautiful and surprisingly diverse landscapes of the Kalahari.

Malaria-free Tswalu is the largest private game reserve in South Africa and is home to lion, king cheetah, giraffe, Cape buffalo and both the white rhino and the highly endangered black rhino. Smaller animals include the bat-eared fox and aardvark while the bird life is incredibly rich and varied.

Enjoy game drives, guided dune walks and excursions to view Bushmen rock art or treat yourself to a spa treatment or a spectacular hot air balloon ride. Order a iced cocktail and relax by the pool in the heat of the day while after nightfall prepare to be amazed by the galaxy of stars above you as you settle down for an exciting sleep-out under the clear night sky.

Day 10

Your African safari comes to an end

Fly back to Johannesburg for your connecting flight.
