Day to Day Itinerary

Day 1

Land in Lilongwe

Arrive in Lilongwe and transfer to the intimate and superior Mvuu Wilderness Lodge on the banks of the Shire River in the Liwonde National Park. Enjoy a drink from the bar as you relax on the raised wooden dining deck overlooking the river, or take a refreshing swim.
Days 2-3

View wildlife in Liwonde

Explore the many different habitats of the Liwonde National Park on a variety of game-viewing activities. Cruise around the marshlands on a boat safari, hike through the woodlands and hills on a nature walk, or drive around the savannah on a game drive.

Set out on a bicycle to nearby villages where you can get to know the locals and understand their culture and traditions. There is also the option of spending the night at one of these villages.

Day 4

Return to Lilongwe

Enjoy breakfast, and perhaps even one last game drive, before transferring back to Lilongwe where your journey comes to an end.
