Day to Day Itinerary

Day 1

Touch Down in Malawi

On arrival in Malawi, transfer by road from Lilongwe to the stunning Mvuu Wilderness Lodge in the Liwonde National Park. Relax on your private viewing deck looking out over the lagoon as you take in your first sunset in this prime wilderness reserve.

Days 2-3

Experience the Liwonde National Park

Set about exploring the reserve's array of habitats - including marshes, open savannah, hills and forest - on a variety of game-viewing activities. Birdwatchers will also delight in the prolific and rare species found here.

Head out by bicycle to visit a nearby village where you can spend time getting to know the local people and their traditions and cultures.

Day 4

Make your way to Lake Malawi

After breakfast, transfer to the eco-friendly Mumbo Island on the spectacular fresh-water Lake Malawi. Spend your first afternoon here relaxing in a hammock and taking in this remote and deserted location.

Days 5-6

Experience Lake Malawi

Spend lazy days in a hammock or enjoy some exciting water activities such as kayaking, snorkelling, and scuba diving. Mumbo Island offers barefoot luxury and tranquillity and a good dose of healthy outdoor fun. This idyllic island on Lake Malawi is the perfect place to relax.

Day 7

Return to Lilongwe

Enjoy a delicious breakfast before transferring by road to the airport in Lilongwe where your Malawian adventure comes to an end.
