Experience a fantastic 11-day tour that takes three of Southern Africa's biggest highlights: a Cape Town holiday, a Kruger Big 5 safari and a trip to mighty Victoria Falls.

Your adventure begins in the fashionable city neighbourhood of Tamboerskloof in Cape Town where Table Mountain is literally on your doorstep and the many other attractions of the Mother City await you. Relax on the beach in nearby Camps Bay, shop at the sophisticated V&A Waterfront, or just wander along buzzing Long Street, stopping for a coffee on your way to the city musuems.

Next, it's off to the famous Timbavati Game Reserve for some superb Big 5 game viewing at the luxurious Simbavati River Lodge. From there you'll then spend an evening in Johannesburg before heading up to the Zambezi River and Victoria Falls to enjoy exciting adventure activities in Africa's adrenalin capital.

Day to Day Itinerary

Days 1-4

Explore beautiful Cape Town

After your arrival in Cape Town, collect your hire car and drive to charming Walden House, a restored Victorian home situated in the heart of Cape Town and close to many of the city's attractions.

Start your day with a ride up Table Mountain via the cable car before heading down Long Street for some shopping and a bite to eat. Leave some time to drive to the dramatic Atlantic coast to catch some African sun on the exquisite city beaches of Clifton and Camps Bay.

Dine in the evening at one of the fine restaurants in town or at the ever-popular V&A Waterfront.

Days 5-7

View Big Game in the Kruger Park

Drive yourself from Walden House back to the airport and board a scheduled flight to Hoedspruit via Johannesburg. You'll meet a representative from Simbavati River Lodge who'll transfer to this luxurious lodge, set in the private Timbavati Game Reserve adjoining the Kruger National Park.

This intimate camp lies on the banks of the Nhlaralumi River and offers beautiful scenery, superb game viewing and even caters for children with a comprehensive activity plan and games room.

Early morning, late afternoon and early evening game drives at Simbavati ensure excellent sightings of animals at their most active and expert guides will provide you with amazing photographic opportunities for the Big 5 and other classic animals.

Day 8

Enjoy a taste of Johannesburg

Transfer back to Hoedspruit for a flight back to Johannesburg where you'll stay at the contemporary and very comfortable Peermont Metcourt. Settle in for the evening or if you've got some energy left, head out and experience the vibrant nightlife of Johannesburg before transferring back to the airport the next morning to catch your flight to Victoria Falls.
Days 9-10

Marvel at the 'Smoke that Thunders'

Catch a scheduled flight from Johannesburg to Africa's adventure capital, Victoria Falls, and transfer to Ilala Lodge, ideally located at the centre of Victoria Falls town on the Zimbabwe side of the river.

Situated within walking distance of Victoria Falls National Park and the mighty waterfall itself, the lodge has beautiful views and is a great base from which to venture out on various excursions and white-knuckle adventures.

Take part in activities such as bungee jumping, white-water rafting, canoe and horseback safaris or even game viewing while on an elephant-back safari.

Day 11

Say goodbye to Victoria Falls

Transfer from the Ilala Lodge to the Victoria Falls Airport for a scheduled flight to the City of Gold. Your adventure ends upon your arrival to Johannesburg.
