Effortless Lower Zambezi

On arrival at Lusaka Airport in Zambia, you'll board a light aircraft flight to Jeki Airstrip. Once here, you'll be met and transferred to Chiawa Camp. This family owned and run tented safari camp offers an intimate, comfortable stay and fantastic views of the Lower Zambezi River from its location in the heart of this national park.

After settling in you can set out to explore the area, or spend a relaxing afternoon enjoying the view over the river and perhaps spotting your first pod of hippos as they come to drink.

Spend your days exploring the area and learning about the flora and fauna. Take to the bush in an open safari vehicle, searching for the abundant wildlife that roam the area, or go on a relaxing boat cruise or canoe ride to view wildlife from the river.

Return to the camp after a full day of safari experiences and sit down to dinner under the stars, sharing stories of your day and listening to the sounds of the African wilderness.

Enjoy one final early morning excursion and a hearty breakfast before transferring back to Jeki Airstrip for your flight to to Lusaka. Once here, you can connect with your ongoing travel arrangements.
