Transfer back to the airport after breakfast where you'll catch a flight to Hoedspruit Airport via Johannesburg. After arriving at Hoedspruit, you'll be driven to the legendary Timbavati Private Game Reserve and on to Simbavati River Lodge where you'll spend the next few days on an exciting South African Big 5 safari.

Adjoining the Kruger National Park, Timbavati is one of the best destinations in the country to see the Big 5. Go on morning, afternoon and early evening game drives with expert guides and trackers - there's plenty of classic African animals in the reserve too, and the bird watching is excellent.

Simbavati is a contemporary and stylish lodge with many viewpoints and raised decks from which to admire the Nhlaralumi River and the animals that frequent its banks. This morning you'll catch a flight to the Indian Ocean island of Mauritius and transfer to Belle Mare Plage, a luxury resort situated on the east coast of the island. Settle in and take stock of your new, tropical surroundings as you plan the days ahead.
