Southern Tanzania Safari Adventure

Your thrilling Tanzania adventure safari begins today as you arrive at the Dar es Salaam Airport, and get transferred to the New Africa Hotel in the heart of the city.

Spend the evening relaxing at the hotel, or head out to explore a local market and observe the bustling atmosphere of East Africa's busiest coastal city.

Wake up this morning and proceed to Tanzania's newest park, Udzungwa Mountains National Park. Enjoy a packed lunch en-route to the park, before setting out on a trek to spot large bird and wildlife community.

After breakfast leave the Udzungwa Mountains behind and drive to the Ruaha National Park, the second largest park in Tanzania known for its elephant sanctuary and some seriously hard-to-get-to areas.

The remoteness and beauty of Ruaha makes it ideal for game-viewing animals like the greater and lesser kudu, as well as the rare roan and sable antelope wonderfull sightings.

Enjoy a packed lunch en-route to the park, before settling into your campsite on the perimeter of the park to enjoy a memorable evening.

Enjoy a full-day of game driving through the Ruaha National Park with a packed lunch to search for the wildlife which is amazing in the park, along with the birdlife which is even more so, with over 350 bird species.

Enjoy the simply breathtaking wilderness of the rivers, plains, forests and wide-open savannah. It's truely a glimpse of 'wild Africa'.

Today you'll enjoy a hearty camp breakfast before travelling to the town of Morogoro. Enjoy the opportunity to explore this African town and visit the Rocky Gardens - a water garden at the foot of the nearby Uluguru Mountains.

Today you'll drive, with your packed lunch, from Morogoro to the Selous Game Reserve. The scenery of the drive is quite spectacular though it can be a little bumpy at times as the road will be gravel for the last portion of the drive.

On arrival at your campsite, enjoy some down time as you can watch the crocodile and hippo activity on the nearby flowing Rufiji River from either the camp, or on a boat safari before dinner.

Today you'll enjoy a hearty camp breakfast before returning to the Mikumi. Enjoy a game-drive on arrival to the park as you make your way to your spacious camping spot for one final night under the Tanzanian night sky.

The final day of your Tanzanian adventure safari has arrived. Depart the camp after breakfast with a packed lunch in hand and enjoy one final game drive through the Mikumi as you depart for Dar es Salaam.

Get dropped off at the JK Nyerere International Airport for your departing flight out.
