Day to Day Itinerary

Day 1

Arrive in Nairobi

Arrive in Nairobi and transfer to the luxurious Intercontinental Hotel for the rest of your day at leisure in Kenya's cosmopolitan and lively capital city.

Day 2

Journey to Amboseli

Leave Nairobi after a leisurely breakfast and head south-east via Namanga towards the renowned Amboseli National Park, stopping along the way to enjoy a delicious picnic lunch. The afternoon will see you experiencing an exciting game drive in the park as you make your way to the Ol Tukai Lodge arriving as the sun sets.

Day 3

Visit the Mzima Springs

An early departure after breakfast takes you east across the spectacular Shetani lava flow, a vast reminder of the molten outpouring that spilled down the scenic slopes of the nearby Chyulu Hills over the last three centuries. Follow a winding road to Kenya's largest game park, Tsavo National Park, and the picturesque Kilaguni Lodge.

Enjoy lunch before you head out on an afternoon game drive in the park and a visit to Mzima Springs, with its underwater viewing holes. Continue to the private Taita Hills Sanctuary for the night at the Salt Lick Lodge.

Day 4

Enjoy a morning game drive

Embark on a morning game drive in the Taita Hills Game Sanctuary, stopping at a variety of waterholes to spot the resident elephants, lions and buffalos. Continue after lunch on a game drive in the Tsavo East National Park finishing at the Aruba Lodge as the sun sets.

Spend your last night overlooking the Aruba Dam, a favourite waterhole for the large mammals of the area, especially the wandering herds of elephants.

Day 5

Continue to Mombasa

Enjoy a final morning game drive before returning to the lodge for lunch. Continue your journey to Mombasa, arriving to the coastal town in the late afternoon.
