Day to Day Itinerary

Day 1-3

Explore Cape Town

Arrive at Cape Town International Airport where you will collect your hire car and drive into the city. Settle in at the charming Welgelegen Guest House, conveniently situated in the fashionable city suburb of Gardens, and your home for the following three nights.

Your days are spent exploring this vibrant city, enjoying the many attractions and activities that have made it such a popular destination. Hike or take the cable car up Table Mountain and marvel at the views or enjoy a short, scenic drive to the beautiful city beaches of Clifton and Camps Bay.

Go shopping in the V&A Waterfront or take a slow drive down the peninsula to Cape Point, stopping at sleepy fishing villages on the way - and don't forget the penguin colony at Boulders Beach. A boat trip will take you to Robben Island where you can visit Nelson Mandela's prison cell and if you're feeling adventurous you can enjoy wind surfing or kite boarding on Blouberg Beach.

Choose your dinner venue from a variety of top-class restuarants, either on the upmarket Camps Bay beachfront, the chic Waterkant district or closer to your guesthouse on stylish Kloof Street.

Day 4-6

Catch a flight to Mpumalanga

Today you will return to Cape Town International Airport for your flight to Mpumalanga Province and the Kruger National Park. Once here you'll transfer to Simbambili Game Lodge, situated in the Sabi Sands Game Reserve, a legendary private reserve that borders the Kruger and your home for the following three nights.

The Sabi Sands is not only known for its exceptional Big 5 game viewing but it is also home to a wide range of classic African animals and boasts a huge bird count - it's also one of the best places on the continent for regular leopard sightings. Set out on early morning, late afternoon and early evening game drives to experience this extraordinary destination.

Return to Simbamlili after your safari activities to relax in your Morroccan-styled suite or take a dip in your private punge pool as you look out over the nearby waterhole for animals that come to drink.

Enjoy a touch of tranquility at the Amani African Spa where you'll be pampered with a range of treatments in this quiet sanctuary.

Day 7-8

Experience the Panorama Route

Today you will travel into the beautiful Panorama Route, an impossibly scenic region of mountains, canyons and forests in the greater Kruger area, and arrive at Jatinga Country Lodge for a two-night stay. Situated just outside of White River, the lodge offers a tranquil English country house feel.

This is the ideal setting for you to relax and absorb the beauty of this green wonderland. Go on relaxed bird watching expeditions, long walks through this beautiful haven or relaxing on the secluded pool deck.

Return to the lodge to enjoy in the evening a delicious meal prepared by the resident gourmet chef.

Day 9

Spend a night at D'Oreale

Wake up this morning and leave the tranquil forest behind with a flight to Johannesburg and a transfer to the 5-star D'Oreale Hotel, where elegance and luxury are offered, providing the ideal atmosphere before you travel to Mozambique. The hotel is also conveniently situated next to O.R. Tambo International Airport.

Unwind in your luxurious room, or unwind beside the swimming pool before enjoying a fine dining experience in the evening.

Day 10-15

Continue to Mozambique

Today you will leave Johannesburg and catch a flight to Vilanculos on Mozambique's tropical coast. From here you'll enjoy a helicopter transfer to Azura, your spectacular beachfront home for the following six nights.

Azura's luxury villas are positioned along an incredible stretch of pearly sand, lapped by the Indian Ocean's turquoise waters. It's the perfect location in which to kick back in the shade of a palm tree and watch the traditional white-sailed dhows drift by.

Explore life under the surface of these incredible waters: the surrounding ocean forms part of a national park and offers exceptional snorkelling and scuba diving (Azura has a gold-rated PADI dive centre), as well as catch-and-release deep sea fishing.

Relax and enjoy a romantic candlelit dinner for two on the beach in the evenings or join the other guests in one of the gourmet restaurants.

Day 16

Bid farewell to Mozambique

Enjoy one last morning stroll on the beach before boarding your flight from Vilanculous to Mpumalanga. From here you'll transfer to Johannesburg where your memorable African holiday will come to an end.
