Day to Day Itinerary

Day 1

Fly over the Delta to Xakanaxa

Your exclusive Okavango Delta experience begins today as you arrive at Maun Airport in Botswana, and transfer to a light aircraft for a charter flight to the Xakanaxa Camp - a luxurious tented bush camp in the heart of Moremi Game Reserve.

Day 2

Explore the Moremi Game Reserve

Today is dedicated to exploring the stunning Moremi Game Reserve on a boating safari, game drive and even a mokoro (dug-out canoe) excursion.

The reserve is a pristine wilderness area, and offers many remote and untouched areas. Be on the lookout for hippo, elephant and buffalo, all of which regularly congregate on the river banks.

In the evening, enjoy superb cuisine at Xakanaxa Camp on the outdoor dining deck.

Day 3

Transfer to Kwara Camp

This morning, enjoy a scenic boat transfer through the Delta waterways to a private Okavango Delta concession and the tented safari camp, Kwara Camp. Settle in, and relax for a bit before setting out in the afternoon for a game drive or bird-watching expedition. Return to camp for a delicious fire-side meal.

Day 4

Discover the Okavango Delta

Spend the day out exploring the many trails, channels and waterways of the Okavango Delta. Enjoy a tranquil mokoro trip, go bird-watching, experience a thrilling speedboat ride, or even head out on a guided walk.

Set off in the early evening on a game drive through the area, keeping your eyes peeled for nocturnal animals.

Day 5

Return by air to Maun

This morning you’ll transfer to the Kwara Camp airstrip for your charter flight to Maun Airport. Enjoy the beautiful views of the Delta from the air as you fly over. Your tour ends once you arrive in Maun and transfer to your outbound flight.
