Begin your safari as you fly into either Victoria Falls Airport in Zimbabwe or Livingstone Airport in Zambia. Sit back and enjoy the scenery as you transfer by road to Chobe Game Lodge - your home for the next two nights. Situated in the northern riverine woodlands of the Chobe National Park in Botswana, all the rooms of the lodge overlook the beautiful Chobe River and enjoy spectacular views of the nearby Caprivi floodplains.

After settling in, you can relax by the terraced pool or in the cigar room, enjoy a drink at the bar or read in the library, play a game of pool or unwind with a rejuvenating spa treatment. Head out on your first 4x4 game drive in the late afternoon and be on the lookout for lion, the endangered wild dog, red lechwe, and the rare roan and sable antelopes.

After breakfast you'll depart from Chobe Game Lodge and travel deeper into the park to the wildlife-rich Savute Channel - a dry riverbed that is known for its excellent game viewing. You'll spend the following two nights at Savute Safari Lodge, located on the banks of the Channel and offering great views of the surrounding area.

Take a dip in the plunge pool that overlooks the waterhole or enjoy a quiet reading session in the library before heading out on your afternoon game drive. Return to the camp to enjoy sundowners on the viewing deck and a delicious African-inspired meal around the campfire.

What makes the Savute such an excellent destination for wildlife encounters, is its high density of predators. As you go on your morning and afternoon game drives, be on the lookout for the large lion prides as they lounge in the shade or prowl around looking for prey.

Plan your visit around the summer months as leopard, cheetah, black-backed jackal and elephant bulls are quite plentiful during this time. You might also catch a glimpse of the zebra migration - a remarkable site in itself. Return to the lodge to relax, swim and enjoy sundowners as you listen to the sounds of the African bush.

Depart from Savute Lodge after breakfast and leave the Chobe National Park behind as you head west for Moremi Game Reserve, an absolute gem bordering Botswana's Okavango Delta. Your home for the next two nights is Camp Moremi, a luxury tented camp situated on the Xakanaxa Lagoon in the heart of beautiful Moremi. The main area of the camp is shaded by giant ebony trees and you can spend hours here, learning about the region in the wildlife reference library or enjoying a cocktail at the bar.

Take a dip in the secluded pool or merely relax in your tent as it boasts unsurpassed views of the lagoon. Head out on a thrilling evening drive with one of the trained naturalists and highly trained guides to spot some of the nocturnal animals that reside in the park.

Head out today on morning and afternoon game drives to explore the Moremi Game Reserve's diverse landscape and prolific wildlife. Pass through ancient mopane forests, open grassland areas, seasonal floodplains and riverine habitats, keeping your eyes peeled for wild dog, cheetah, lion, leopard and elephant. Take a different approach to game viewing by going on a bird watching excursion or taking a powerboat trip to the Gadikwe Lagoon via the surrounding channels.

Once you've returned from your exciting game-viewing activity, relax in the covered boma or on the elevated game-viewing platform at the lagoon's edge - a perfect spot for a delicious sundowner.

After breakfast, you'll set off into the Okavango Delta - the biggest inland delta in the world and a brilliant location for year-round water-based game viewing. You'll be staying at Camp Okavango for the next two nights. Situated on remote Nxaragha Island, this secluded tented camp features a comfortable reading lounge, cocktail bar and an extended outdoor area that includes shaded hammocks and reading benches.

After settling in, spend the afternoon taking a dip in the plunge pool, visiting the secluded bird hide, or taking an afternoon nap in your East African-styled luxury tent.

Spend the day out and about, exploring the surrounding area of the Okavango Delta on game drives, mokoro canoe excursions, river cruises or even guided island walks. Although the Delta is home to a large variety of wildlife, it is the birdlife that makes the biggest impression. Marvel at the diversity of birds you come across and see how many strange species you can identify.

Return to camp in the evening where you’ll enjoy a lovely dinner in the outdoor dining area built under a number of striking jackalberry trees. Sit around the fire and share stories of your encounters thus far.

Leave the watery wilderness of the Okavango Delta behind today as you fly into the Makgadikgadi Pans National Park, a far drier safari park, but a wonderful experience just the same. Arrive at Leroo La Tau, an intimate safari lodge situated on the banks of a river overlooking the incredible Boteti Riverbed and the Makgadikgadi saltpans in the distance.

Settle in at the lodge and take a swim in the plunge pool or enjoy a drink on the wooden deck that offers viewing of the river and the wildlife that come to drink.

Go on guided safaris to explore this park that is home to about 30 000 zebra and wildebeest. Between May and October you might even get the rare chance to see these animals migrating across the country. Also keep an eye open for the prolific birdlife in the park during the summer months.

As Leroo La Tau means 'footprints of the lion', you'll most probably be able to see them as there are a number of prides roaming these lands. Explore the saltpans on game drives or guided walks, but spend the hottest part of the day relaxing at the swimming pool or reading in the library.

The evening will once again see you indulging in a delicious meal around the camp fire as you enjoy your last night out in the wilderness.
