Amboseli & Mara Wilderness Safari

This morning you are collected from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport or the Nairobi City Centre and transferred to Wilson Airport for your scheduled flight to the Amboseli National Park. You'll be met and transferred to Tawi Lodge, arriving in time for lunch and some leisure time. Tawi Lodge is situated within a private conservancy of about 6000 acres, just 5 minutes from the entrance to the park.

In the afternoon, you’ll set out on your first game drive in the Amboseli National Park, searching for the large herds of elephant and varied wildlife while enjoying spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro.

Today you'll enjoy early morning and afternoon game drives through both the private conservancy surrounding the camp and the Amboseli National Park. Escape the heat of the day by returning to camp between game drives for lunch and some time to relax.

After breakfast this morning, you'll be transferred back to the airport for an early morning scheduled flight back to Nairobi, where you'll connect with your flight to the Masai Mara – arguably Kenya's greatest wilderness.

Upon arrival in the Mara, you will be met and transferred to Kilima Camp, an intimate eco-friendly lodge situated on the Siria Escarpment overlooking the peaceful Mara River. Enjoy lunch and an afternoon nap, before heading out for an exciting game drive in the late afternoon.

The next couple of days are dedicated to exploring the vast Masai Mara National Reserve, home to diverse wildlife and also the setting for the great wildebeest migration that takes place across the greater Serengeti/Masai Mara eco-system between June and November.

Enjoy early morning and afternoon game drives in the reserve, in the company of Maasai trackers and rangers. Between game drives you can relax at the camp and escape the heat of the afternoon.

In the evenings you can enjoy sundowners on the main deck, followed by relaxed dinners around a cosy fire.

Following one last early morning wildlife activity and breakfast, you'll be transferred back to the Masai Mara Airstrip for your return flight to Wilson Airport just outside Nairobi. Upon arrival you will be met and transferred to either Jomo Kenyatta International Airport or Nairobi’s city centre, where you’re adventure comes to an end.
