Day to Day Itinerary

Day 1

Arriving in Arusha

After arriving at Kilimanjaro International Airport, set out with a representative and drive to the serene Lake Duluti Lodge. Spend one night in a chalet at Arusha Coffee Lodge, near the quaint town of Arusha, beneath the peaks of Mount Meru and Kilimanjaro.

The ideal place to prepare for your safari adventure. If there is time, explore the town's excellent restuarants, bars, museums, markets.

Days 2-3

Explore Lake Manyara

After a delicious breakfast, drive to Arusha Airport and board your scheduled flight to the Manyara Airstrip. Set out from the airstrip with your lodge guide and embark on a short game drive through the fantastic Lake Manyara National Park to the exclusive Lake Manyara Tree Lodge.

Spend two nights at Lake Manyara Tree Lodge enjoying twice-daily game drives in open 4x4 safari vehicles. Lake Manyara National Park offers a unique wilderness experience and many diverse habitats. Apart from a spectacular setting, the park is famous for its unusual tree-climbing lions, vast elephant herds and the abundance of pink flamingos that crowd the lake.

Days 4-5

Game drive on the Crater floor

Enjoy an early morning game drive and a tantalising breakfast before being driven to the luxurious Ngorongoro Crater Lodge, situated on the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater.

Spend two nights at the lodge enjoying a variety of activities including a morning game drive on the crater floor, an optional adventure to the Olduvai Gorge, or a visit to a traditional Maasai village.

The Ngorongoro Crater Conservation Area, within the Serengeti, is home to more than 30 000 protected animals. It is an area of spectacular beauty and excellent game viewing and is the largest intact caldera in the world.

Days 6-8

Discover the Serengeti

Enjoy an early morning breakfast before taking a safari vehicle back to the Manyara Airstrip, for your scheduled flight to the stunning Klein's Camp in the famous Serengeti National Park.

Spend three nights here enjoying game drives and nature walks on the Klein's Camp wilderness concession. The afternoon game drives will extend into the night with the aid of a spotlight.

The Serengeti National Park is a vast expanse of wilderness and sustains the world's largest concentration of wildlife. It is also renowned for the part it plays in the annual migration, when vast herds of wildebeest migrate to Kenya's Masai Mara National Reserve.

Day 9

Heading back home

Enjoy a delicious breakfast before driving to the Manyara Airstrip to board your flight to Arusha where you’ll transfer to a hotel for the chance to relax in a day room. Later on, you’ll transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward flight.
