Beach Bliss & Rendezvous Safari

Upon arrival in Mombasa you'll be picked up at the airport and transferred to The Whitesands Beach Resort and Spa. Spend the next five days enjoying all the delights of this fantastic resort, situated just north of ever-buzzing Mombasa.

Lounge on the resort's 300m of beachfront, have a dip in the warm Indian Ocean or cool off in one of the resort's five pools. Scuba diving and snorkelling excursions come highly recommended as there are some excellent coral reefs nearby and the entire waterfront is a protected marine park.

After a day of sun-filled activities, you can freshen up and sit down at one of the resort's four excellent restaurants to enjoy a delicious evening meal as the stars come out.

After an early morning pick up from Whitesands Resort, you'll be driven out to Tsavo East National Park and the Voi Safari Lodge. After settling in, you can head out in the afternoon on your first exciting game drive in the park.

Spend the next two days exploring the Amboseli and Tsavo West National Parks in search of Kenya's impressive range of wildlife. Amboseli boasts a particularly incredible backdrop as Mount Kilimanjaro towers in the distance and, if the weather allows, you may even be able to spot its snowy peak. Tsavo West National Park is just as incredible.

Home to the Big 5, you'll have some great opportunities to witness amazing animals in their natural surroundings while on your game drives.

After a game drive in the Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary - a private game reserve - you'll return to Mombasa and The Voyager Beach Resort in Nayli. The last six days will be spent here in this new yet equally spectacular holiday resort. Naturally, there are beautiful beaches to lounge on but you can now head out into the Indian Ocean to go big game fishing on the resort's state-of-the-art fishing boat.

Alternatively, book a diving excursion with the local diving school, get a little history lesson as you tour Mombasa's old town, or take a dhow cruise complete with picnic lunch or sundowner drinks to make the most of this incredible setting.

Enjoy one last breakfast in paradise before you're transferred back to the airport for your ongoing travel arrangements.
