This fantastic 9-day getaway combines two of Southern Africa's most iconic and exclusive holiday experiences: begin with some unbelievable game viewing in the Sabi Sands before kicking off your shoes and enjoying luxury beach living on the dazzling Mozambique coast.

The holiday begins in the game-rich Sabi Sands Private Game Reserve, which forms part of the greater Kruger National Park area. Expect expertly-led game drives and guided walks in search of the Big 5 and the area's many other animals from your base, a luxuriously rustic and intimate bush camp.

Then it's off to unwind on the white beaches of Mozambique north of Vilanculos and opposite the Bazaruto Archipelago islands. Be mesmerised by the glittering warm waters of the Indian Ocean as you explore tropical coral reefs, laze beneath the African sun on the sandy beaches, or take part in some the lodge's exciting beach activities and watersports.

Day to Day Itinerary

Day 1

Fly to Sabi Sands

Transfer from Nelspruit Airport to Notten's Camp, a luxury safari camp in the Sabi Sands Private Game Reserve, a collection of wildlife-packed private reserves that form part of the greater Kruger National Park.

Days 2-3

Thrilling game viewing in the Sabi Sands

Enjoy morning, afternoon and early evening game drives with a professional ranger and sharp-eyed tracker. The Sabi Sands Private Game Reserve is one of the most exclusive and rewarding game parks in the Kruger area and is home to the famous Big 5. You also have the chance to go out on guided nature walks as well.

Unwind between safari activities at the Notten's Nature Spa or cool off in the lodge's sparkling swimming pool.

Day 4

Spend a Night at Peermont

Transfer back to Nelspruit Airport to catch your flight to the Mozambique coast and a transfer to the Vilanculos Beach Lodge. Spend the rest of the day at this relaxed beach lodge in tropical bliss.

Day 5

Relax in Tropical Tranquility

Transfer back to Nelspruit Airport to catch your flight to the Mozambique coast and a transfer to the Vilanculos Beach Lodge. Spend the rest of the day at this relaxed beach lodge in tropical bliss.

 

Days 6-9

Soak up the sun in Vilanculos

Spend the next few days scuba diving or snorkelling off the Bazaruto Archipelago's coral reefs, horse-riding on dazzling white sand beaches, visiting the markets of Vilanculos, or merely stretching out by the pool and allowing time to slowly drift by.

Day 10

Say farewell To Mozambique

Say farewell to paradise as you transfer to Vilanculos Airport for your flight to Johannesburg. Your adventure ends when your flight arrives in the 'City of Gold'.
