Day to Day Itinerary

Day 1

Fly to Mauritius

Fly to Mauritius from Johannesburg's OR Tambo International on a scheduled Air Mauritius flight where you'll be met by a representative of the Belle Mare Plage Hotel and transferred to the hotel. The rest of the day is yours to settle in and explore this stunning resort.
Days 2-6

Beach, sun and family fun

Surrounded by 15 hectares of tropical gardens and set on the most beautiful beach, Belle Mare Plage is a tranquil Indian Ocean paradise. Protected by a coral reef, the waters at the resort are perfect for swimming, snorkelling, wind surfing and sea kayaking.

There really is something for the entire family at Belle Mare Plage and you'll have five full days to find out exactly how valid that claim is. Kick off with snorkelling excursions, take a trip in a glass-bottomed boat, or relax by any one of the four pools. Golf enthusiasts will love the two 18-hole championship courses - The Legends and The Links - and for an extra cost, guests can book scuba diving or deep-sea fishing excursions.

Parents can rest easy: the resort has a smooth-running and professional kids club for youngsters between 4 and 12 as well as a baby sitting service which means mom and dad can enjoy quality time together - perhaps head for the spa for a relaxing massage or beauty treatment.

Your evenings will be a culinary delight as you try out the menu at any of the six superb restaurants at the resort. Select from seafood combinations, Italian and continental European dishes - there will be a dish to satisfy your tastebuds on any given night.

Day 7

Return to Johannesburg

Transfer after breakfast to the airport for your flight back to Johannesburg. Your tour ends upon arrival in the City of Gold.
