Spend eight fantastic and memorable days exploring Botswana's two iconic safari destinations - the Okavango Delta and Chobe National Park - before ending off with a stay at the mighty Victoria Falls in Zambia.

Begin your romantic honeymoon getaway in the Okavango Delta by going on game drives and canoe trips - you'll even have the chance to interact with semi-habituated elephants. Move on to the border of the Chobe National Park, a famous conservation area packed with game and home to many predators.

There are also plenty of opportunities for keen bird enthusiasts to tick of dozens of bird species. Lastly, head to the banks of the Zambezi River which will be the base from where you will explore one of the seven wonders of the world - Victoria Falls, also known as the adrenalin capital of Africa. Day to Day Itinerary

Day 1

Head into the Delta

Arrive at Johannesburg's OR Tambo International Airport today and catch your connecting flight to Maun Airport. From here you will transfer into the Okavango Delta to your accommodation - Baines' Camp - for the first three nights. Baines' Camp is located on a private concession bordering the Moremi Game Reserve, overlooking a large perennial lagoon just off the permanent Boro River.
Days 2-3

Experience an elephant interaction

Wake up to the sound of birdsong in beautiful and luxurious Baines Camp. The location provides the ultimate location for water-based activities such as motorboat safaris and canoeing in a traditional dug-out mokoro. You'll also enjoy excellent game viewing opportunities: head out on morning and afternoon game drives, finished off with a spotlit drive back to camp in the early evening.

For an unforgettable experience, Baines' Camp is home to several semi-habituated elephants and you can enjoy interacting with these gentle giants, under the watchful gaze of their handlers. For a truly unique experience, wheel your bed out onto your private wooden deck for a night under the stars.

Days 4-5

Enjoy game-driving in Chobe

Today you will leave Baines' Camp after breakfast and transfer to your next accommodation, set on a escarpment overlooking the Chobe River and the world-renowned Chobe National Park: the elegant Chobe Chilwero. This beautiful and luxuriously appointed lodge boasts exceptional river views and breathtaking sunsets, best enjoyed while on a peaceful riverboat cruise.

Chobe National Park is of course known for its exceptional game viewing and bird watching, and you'll be heading out on morning and afternoon game drives with expert guides in search of Chobe's legendary elephant and buffalo herds. The game viewing is particularly good in the June to October dry season. For something more relaxing however, you can also enjoy a pampering spa treatment at Chobe Chilwero's well-equipped spa.

Days 6-7

Visit the Victoria Falls

Today you transfer to Zambia where you will staying at Sussi & Chuma on the banks of the mighty Zambezi River. The exclusive and upmarket lodge is located a short distance from Victoria Falls where you may enjoy guided tours of the thundering spectacle. For something different, the lodge also offers cultural tours, sunset river cruises and a Safari Spa for essential pampering sessions.

Day 8

Fly back to Johannesburg

Say farewell to the Zambezi today and transfer to Livingstone Airport for your flight back to Johannesburg. From here you will continue with your own onward travel plans.
