Cape Town, Sun City & Kruger Family Journey

Upon your arrival in the Mother City, meet your private transfer and drive to Walden House in the beautiful city suburb of Tamboerskloof, far enough from the city centre to enjoy peace and quiet but close enough to be within a short drive of most of Cape Town's attractions.

Enjoy a few days exploring: take the cable car up Table Mountain or visit historic Robben Island and see Nelson Mandela's old prison cell. The excellent Two Oceans Aquarium at the V&A Waterfront is a perfect rainy day excursion and it's also worth hiring a car and driving around the Cape Peninsula to take the family for a picnic with the penguins of Boulder's Beach on your way to Cape Point.

Dinner is spent at one of Cape Town's many excellent restaurants.

After breakfast, transfer to Cape Town International Airport for a scheduled flight to Johannesburg where you'll meet a private shuttle which will take you to Sun City.

Take the opportunity over the next few days to experience this internationally-renowned entertainment complex. Children will just love the artificial beach of The Valley of the Waves, and there's a crocodile farm, entertainment complex, live shows and game drives in the adjoining Pilanesberg National Park too. Parents will appreciate the swimming pools, the two 18-hole championship golf courses and a wide range of restaurants and bars, as well as a kids club and professional baby-sitting service.

Transfer back to Johannesburg Airport after breakfast for a scheduled flight to Hoedspruit Airport where you'll be picked up and taken to Serondella Lodge, located in the spectacular Thornybush Game Reserve, a private conservation area bordering the Kruger National Park.

Spend the next four days on a Big 5 safari. Expertly-led game drives will take you in search of the Big 5 and other classic animals and you can get up close to the details with a guided nature walk as well. Spend a few hours at the Amani Spa enjoying a massage or wellness treatment while a guided day tour of the impossibly scenic Panorama Route nearby offers a different experience.

Your evenings will be filled with sumptuous 3-course dinners and a chance to sit by the campfire or in the lounge and reminisce about the day's activities.
