Spend six days enjoying the dazzling white-sand beaches and warm tropical waters of Mozambique's Indian Ocean coastline on a package that is just as enticing for honeymooners as it is for families who want a beach holiday with a difference.

You'll be staying at Vilanculos Beach Lodge, located just outside the bustling market town of Vilanculos and home to a wide range of activities both on and in the ocean, including diving and snorkelling. The islands of the bejewelled Bazaruto Archipelago lie some 30km away and make for great full-day trips - and you can also enjoy horse riding on the beach, kayaking and bird watching.

Day to Day Itinerary

Day 1

Arrive in Vilanculos in Mozambique

Arrive in Johannesburg today and catch your flight from OR Tambo International Airport to Vilanculos in Mozambique. You will be transferred to Vilanculos Beach Lodge, your beachside accommodation for the next five nights. Check in and wander down to the beach to get a feel for this relaxed and friendly destination before planning your next few days over a cold drink.
Days 2-5

Enjoy seaside living on the Indian Ocean

Build from naturally sourced materials, Vilanculos Beach Lodge is both stylish and comfortable with a spacious main lounge, restaurant and bar. There is plenty to do in the area - beach horse rides, sea kayaking, kite surfing and snorkelling are among the most popular activities but with the islands and teeming coral reefs of the Bazaruto Archipelago lying offshore, guests at the lodge also have access to some of Africa's most rewarding diving and snorkelling sites and can enjoy full-day island-hopping cruises.

In the evenings you'll enjoy traditional Mozambican dishes as well as Western fare, with fresh seafood featuring highly. Choose to eat inside or outside under the stars.

Day 6

Say goodbye to Mozambique

Today you'll say farewell to Mozambique as you head back to Vilanculos Airport and catch your return flight to Johannesburg to continue with your onward travel arrangements.
