Go on a fun family safari in the South Luangwa National Park over eight days.

Day to Day Itinerary

Day 1

Arrive in Lusaka

Arrive in Lusaka today and transfer to Kapani Lodge. This exclusive camp is located on the banks of an ox-bow lake in the South Luangwa and is positioned in a prime game viewing area. Settle in and unwind, or set off on your first exciting walking safari or game drive.

Days 2-4

Explore South Luangwa National Park

Spend the next few days exploring the beautiful wilderness of the South Luangwa. Discover why the valley is regarded as the 'home of walking safaris' as you set out with your trained guide and a naturalist. Head out on game drives in well-equipped safari vehicles.

Return to the lodge and relax beside the private swimming pool or in the lounge area, overlooking pods of hippo playing in the lagoon. At night, enjoy a delicious dinner, followed by some star-gazing and the night sounds of the African wilderness.

Days 5-7

Enjoy the bush camp experience

This morning you'll transfer further up the Luangwa River to the Kakuli Camp for three days. Continue to explore the area each day on game-drives or walking safaris that allow you to interact with the bush.

Enjoy meals in the bush, visit the local school or mould your own clay - there are plenty of activities to choose from to keep the whole family busy.

Day 8

Say farewell to Zambia

Say farewell to the South Luangwa Wilderness as you transfer back to Lusaka today, where your family adventure comes to an end.
