Spend eight days discovering Zambia's Luangwa Valley, staying in two different accommodations inside the Luangwa National Park.

Begin with a stay on the banks of the Luangwa River before moving on to an authentic bush camp deep within the reserve, and then returning to the River.

Day to Day Itinerary

Day 1

Arrive in South Luangwa

Arrive in Lusaka and catch an air transfer to Mfuwe. From here, transfer to your accommodation in Zambia's South Luangwa National Park. Begin your adventure at Kapani Lodge, an exclusive camp located on the banks of an ox-bow lake within the park.

Day 2

Enjoy guided bush walks

Begin your first full day with an early morning game drive before a few hours to relax and watch the goings-on around the camp. Later in the afternoon, you'll set out on another activity to spot more wildlife, the large numbers of birds, and the magnificient sunsets.

Days 3-5

Experience an authentic bush camp

Today you transfer to your next accommodation in South Luangwa - Kakuli Bush Camp. You will be spending your last 3 nights at this seasonal safari camp situated on the confluence of the Luwi and Luangwa rivers in the picturesque Luangwa Valley.

This camp provides a unique and memorable safari experience for photographers and wildlife enthusiasts as it’s far removed from civilisation and teeming with animals and birds. Spend your days further exploring these beautiful surrounds while being hidden deep within this lush, Zambian wilderness.

Days 6-7

Return to the Kapani Lodge

Enjoy a final breakfast at the Kakuli Camp before embarking back down the Luangwa River to the Kapani Lodge for your last few days in the park. Continue exploring the area on guided bush walks, led by experienced and knowledgeable guides who can educate you on the wonders of the African bush.

Day 8

Head back to Lusaka

Head back to Mfuwe today where you will catch a flight back to Lusaka for your onward travel plans.
