Day to Day Itinerary

Day 1

Arrive in the bustling Nairobi

Upon your arrival in the Kenyan capital you will be met and transferred to the historic estate of the House of Waine, situated in the peaceful suburb of Karen. The rest of the day will be yours to explore this vibrant city and its many sites, restaurants and markets.

Days 2-3

Game drive under Kilimanjaro in Amboseli

Enjoy a hearty breakfast before heading to the nearby Wilson Airport for a scheduled flight to Amboseli National Park. Once on the ground, go on a short game drive as you make your way to the Tortilis Camp, a luxury tented camp bordering the national park.

The next day you will embark on a full game drive to explore this national park, enjoying spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro as it rises in the background. Amboseli is also famous for its large herds of elephant, wildebeest, and lion.

Days 4-5

Spot rhino in Meru National Park

Enjoy one more short game drive before returning to the airstrip for a private flight to Elsa's Kopje in the Meru National Park. A vast and open land, this park is home to a wide variety of animals such as hippo, leopard, cheetah and many others.

Set out the next morning for a full day of game viewing activities to explore these vast plains and spot the resident wildlife. Back at Elsa's Kopje you have the opportunity to further appreciate your magnificent surroundings by going on a fishing excursion or white-water rafting on the Tana River.

Days 6-7

Go horseback riding on the Laikipia Plateau

After breakfast, catch a charter flight to the Laikipia Plateau where you'll be transferred to the Loisaba Lodge - your home for the next two nights. Situated on a private game ranch, Loisaba works with the local community to preserve the environment and its wildlife.

The next two days will be spent discovering these landscapes. Explore the bush on horseback or take a camel trek to see more of the area. The more adventurous might enjoy a mountain bike ride down the escarpment or a day of white-water rafting on the Ewaso Nyiro River. In the evenings, sit down and enjoy a refreshing drink as you watch the dramatic African sunset.

Days 8-9

Discover the renowned Masai Mara

Take another private charter this morning to Nanyuki where you'll board a scheduled flight to the Masai Mara National Reserve. Once on the ground, enjoy a short game drive as you travel to the Saruni Mara. Situated in a conservation area which borders the Masai Mara, this intimate lodge will be your home for the following couple of nights. To help minimise the impact on the environment, access to the lodge and area is limited.

Spend these two days searching for wildlife in the Masai Mara by either driving or going on guided game walks. See more of the abundant birdlife if you choose to go bird watching in the nearby forests with a professional guide. Additionally, organise a visit to a local Maasai village to learn about their culture and meet some of the traditional Maasai warriors.

Day 10

Return to Nairobi

This morning you will wave goodbye to the Masai Mara as you return to Nairobi's Wilson Airport. Your tour will end once you land at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.
