Days 2-3

Discover the Samburu

Enjoy an early breakfast before heading off to the Samburu National Reserve, arriving in time for a late lunch at the Samburu Ashnil Camp. Set on the banks of the Uaso Nyiro River, this traditional Kenyan safari camp will be your home for the next two nights. After lunch, take a game drive in the twin Samburu and Buffalo Springs reserves, looking out for some of Africa's big cats, buffalo, elephant, and hippo. Enjoy sundowners and a quiet dinner at the lodge.

The next day, enjoy a full day on safari in Samburu National Reserve. Spend the day exploring these beautiful plains in search of African wildlife. Return to the camp for sundowners and a delicious dinner.

Day 4

Enjoy abundant game viewing in Ol Pejeta

After breakfast, head south along the flanks of the mighty Mount Kenya to the Serena Sweetwaters Tented Camp.

Overlooking a nearby waterhole, this luxury camp is an excellent base from which to go on game drives, guided walks, and even camel rides. Keep your eyes open as this is also home to all the members of the Big 5.

Day 5

See herds of giraffe in Lake Nakuru

After breakfast, drive to Lake Nakuru National Park and arrive in time for lunch at Flamingo Hill Tented Camp. After lunch, enjoy a game drive in the park and marvel at the large herds of giraffe and antelope in the grassy plains.

Also be on the lookout for both black and white rhino as this is Kenya's largest rhino sanctuary. Return to the lodge for a relaxing swim before sitting down to enjoy dinner.

Days 6-7

Explore the mighty Masai Mara

Depart from Lake Nakuru early in the morning and commence a long drive to the world-renowned Masai Mara. Arrive in time for a late lunch at the Ashnil Mara Camp, a luxury tented camp situated close to the Mara River, and your home for the next two nights.

As you enjoy morning and afternoon game drives, be sure to lookout for lion as this is where you'll find Kenya's largest population of these big cats. You might also have the chance to see the very elusive leopard.

Return to the camp in the evenings to enjoy a drink and watch the striking sunset over the plains.

Days 8-9

Enjoy one last morning game drive in the Mara before setting off for Lake Victoria, the second largest fresh-water lake in the world. After breakfast, you’ll cross the border between Kenya and Tanzania and drive to Speke Bay Lodge.

Enjoy your first night here at leisure, strolling down the soft sandy beaches and taking in the quiet beauty of the island. Your next day on the island can be spent kayaking on the lake, enjoying escorted walks, hiking, or taking a boat trip around the island.

Days 10-11

Experience the magnificent Serengeti

After breakfast, you’ll head off to the famous Serengeti National Park where you will be staying at Serengeti Serena Lodge for the next two nights. Go on an afternoon game drive to get your first glimpse of this magnificent landscape before sitting down to a delicious dinner.

The next day, enjoy a full day of game viewing in the park with morning and afternoon game drives or optional guided nature walks. Whilst the annual migration is the Serengeti's most famous attraction, the park is also renowned for its lion, as well as its abundance of other game such as cheetah, zebra, giraffe and hippo.

Day 12

Descend the Ngorongoro Crater

After a delicious breakfast, leave Mbuzi Mawe and head to the Ngorongoro Conservation area, enjoying a game drive en route. Stop along the way for a visit to the world-famous Olduvai Gorge Palaeolithic site and reputed 'Cradle of Mankind'.

Descend into the Crater for a half-day guided tour of the area, enjoying a picnic lunch on the floor of one of the largest volcanic craters in the world. Explore this diverse landscape, visiting grasslands, swamps, forests, saltpans and a fresh water lake, and spot the varied and prolific wildlife.

Spend the night on the rim of the crater at the Ngorongoro Serena Lodge.

Marvel at the spectacular Mount Kilimanjaro

Enjoy breakfast before heading to Arusha and crossing the border back into Kenya. After a picnic lunch, drive to Amboseli National Park and check into the Kilima Safari Camp where you'll be spending the last two nights.

Go on an afternoon game drive around the lush swamps of this world-renowned national park, and return to the lodge for peaceful sundowners and a delicious dinner.

Spend the whole of the next day viewing wildlife in the park. The plains offer numerous antelopes, spotted hyenas, jackals, warthogs, olive baboons, vervet monkeys, and the chance of spotting lion, leopard and cheetah.
