This safari is suitable for reasonably fit people as it involves some hiking and rugged conditions.

Day to Day Itinerary

Days 1-2

Experience the Okavango Delta

Upon arrival at Maun International Airport you will be met by a tour representative and assisted onto the scheduled light aircraft transfer to Nxabega Airstrip where you will be transferred to your campsite in the Delta.

Explore the crystal-clear channels, islands and waterways by mokoro (dug-out canoe), and enjoy game-viewing walks on the islands. You will spend two nights at the comfortable campsite in a private concession area, with a complement of camp staff to cater for you.

Days 3-4

Search for game in Moremi

On the third day you will be transferred by light aircraft to Khwai in the North Gate region of Moremi Game Reserve. Set-aside in 1963 by the Batawana tribe, the Reserve is rated as one of Africa's most beautiful wildlife sanctuary.

Spend your days on fantastic game drives that teach you about the area and it's wildlife, and spend your nights camping in the reserve.

Day 5-6

Find predators in Savuti

Spend 5-6 hours driving through the amazing landscapes and varying habitats of Moremi Reserve and Chobe National Park en route to Savuti. Expect to see numerous animals on your way, Savuti in particular is well known for its excellent lion and other predator viewing. 

You will spend two nights camping next to the dry Savuti Channel. Depending on the time of the year, huge animal concentrations are attracted to this area.

Day 7-8

Marvel at the elephants of Serondela

From Savuti, move up to northern Chobe, a 4-5 hours overland game drive, where you will camp for two nights in the Serondela area of the National Park. This is the heart of elephant country and you may spend many hours watching the huge herds in and around the waters of the Chobe River on game drives or private boat cruise. Northern Chobe is renowned for its large variety of bird and animal life, beautiful scenery and magnificent sunsets.

Day 9

Tour the thundering Victoria Falls

It is a short drive from Chobe National Park to Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe where you will welcome the chance to wash off Botswana's dust, relax over a cold beer, and enjoy the varied entertainment and facilities at The Elephant Camp after a tour of the magnificent Victoria Falls. 

The Camp is situated on a private concession on the spectacular Zambezi River just 10 kilometres from the Falls. The spray of the Falls is visible from the Camp.

Relax on the deck and watch the elephants who wander in front of the camp. Enjoy a visit to the Wild Horizon Sanctuary for unforgettable personal interaction with the elephants.

Day 10

Say goodbye to Africa

After breakfast at the lodge, you will be transferred to Victoria Falls International Airport where your safari ends.
