Luxury Kruger & Phinda Safari

After arriving at Johannesburg's OR Tambo International Airport you will be met and transferred to Benoni Airport for a flight to the Kruger area whereupon you'll connect with a charter flight into the heart of Big 5 country.
 
You're staying at Ngala Tented Safari Tented Camp, set in the legendary Timbavati Game Reserve and bordering the Kruger National Park. Check into your accommodation, grab a cold drink and start planning your next few activities.

Spend your time here enjoying excellent game viewing - this reserve is famous for its up-close Big 5 sightings (even leopards!) and is equally renowned for its abundant predators and spectacular birdlife. You'll be heading out on day and night drives plus guided nature walks if you want to stretch your legs and take in the details.

When you aren't game viewing, the lodge's swiming pool is a peaceful place to relax and escape the heat of the day, while in the evenings you can sit on the viewing deck above the Timbavati riverbed and enjoy a few drinks and stories with fellow guests.

Today you will fly to Kwazulu Natal and check in at Phinda Vlei Lodge, overlooking a beautiful wetland in the Phinda Private Game Reserve.

Phinda boasts several ecosystems, all bursting with fantastic wildlife: there's the Big 5, (featuring both black and white rhino) and a healthy population of cheetah. The bird watching ranks among the best in the country, if not in Southern Africa.

You can also explore the waters of nearby Lake St Lucia by boat or canoe, visit a local community for a fascinating insight into local culture and watch the sun set as you a sip a refreshing cocktail at the bar.

You can kick back in the lounge or dining area and watch the wildlife on your doorstep. At night,  these areas provide the perfect place to reflect on the day gone by and keep warm by the fireside.

Sadly today is the end of your safari adventure; transfer to Durban Airport and fly to Johannesburg where your tour ends.
