Start your safari adventure by discovering the plains of the Serengeti that teem with wildlife. Follow this with a visit to the world-renowned Ngorongoro Crater - a magical setting packed with more than 30 000 animals. Make a quick stop to see the Tarangire National Park before exploring the Selous Game Reserve - the biggest game reserve in Africa.

Jet off to the spice island – Zanzibar - where you'll be able to explore the medieval alleyways of Stone Town and laze on perfect beaches.

Day to Day Itinerary

Day 1

Begin your journey in Arusha

Your tour begins as you depart from Arusha and head to the amazing Rift Valley Escarpment. Arrive at Lake Manyara and check in at the Lake Manyara Serena Lodge where you will spend the evening relaxing.

Days 2-3

Discover the Serengeti Plains

Enjoy breakfast at the lodge before departing on your first game drive in Lake Manyara National Park to search for wildlife across the diverse landscapes. Return to the lodge for lunch before departing for the world-renowned Serengeti in the afternoon.

Enjoy your first game drive in this famous park as you make your way to the Serengeti Sopa Lodge. The next day will be filled with game viewing as you traverse Tanzania's prime wildlife-viewing area and search the vast plains for lion, leopard, elephant and buffalo.

Days 4-5

View game at the Ngorongoro Crater

Go on one last game drive in the morning before heading off to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, stopping along the way for a lovely picnic lunch before reaching the Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge in the afternoon.

The next morning you will descend the Ngorongoro Crater - the world's largest intact volcanic crater. Explore this diverse landscape that encompasses grasslands, swamps, forests, saltpans and a fresh water lake, as you search for the prolific and varied wildlife found here. Enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor.

Day 6

See the elephant in Tarangire

After breakfast, travel to Tarangire National Park where you can check in at the Tarangire Sopa Lodge before enjoying lunch.

In the afternoon, you can enjoy a game drive in the reserve where thousands of elephant, large herds of antelope and an incredible diversity of birdlife can be admired.

Days 7-9

Explore the scenic Selous Game Reserve

This morning you will head back to Arusha Airport. Board your flight to the beautiful Selous Game Reserve where you will transfer to the Selous River Camp – your accommodation for the next three nights.

Take the next two days to explore Africa's largest game reserve on game drives, game walks and boat rides. Declared as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, this reserve is home to abundant wildlife, including elephant, hippo and the endangered African wild dog.

Day 10

Jet off to Zanzibar

Head back to the airstrip to catch a flight to the idyllic island of Zanzibar. Transfer to the Tembo House Hotel in Stone Town where you'll be spending the night.

The remainder of the day can be spent exploring the fascinating coral city of Stone Town. This is also the perfect place to buy curios and mementos to take home.

Day 11-13

Laze on the Zanzibar beaches

Transfer to Mapenzi Beach Club for where you’ll be spending the next 3 nights. Laze on the perfect white sand or go swimming in the warm, turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean.

Zanzibar is renowned for its incredible diving, and the Mapenzi Beach Club has a variety of non-motorised water sports to choose from. Make the most of your days at the beach and return to the Mvua spa to revitalize and rejuvenate.

Day 14

Say goodbye to the Spice Island

Say goodbye to the beautiful island as you return to Zanzibar's airport for you onward travel arrangements.
