Day to Day Itinerary

Day 1

Begin your African adventure in Arusha

Arrive in Arusha where you will be transferred to Arusha Hotel, here you will spend the first night before beginning your African family adventure.

The town of Arusha is tucked away at the foot of Mount Meru and is the first stop on many a East African safari. The streets of this vibrant town are filled with 4x4 game viewing vehicles criss-crossing the potholed roads. Maasai warriors in full regalia walk around, mingling with tourists in crisp khaki.

Day 2

Discover Lake Manyara Game Reserve

Drive to Mto we Mbu and learn more about this rural village. From there, travel to Lake Manyara Serena Lodge for a delicious lunch. Go on your first exciting game drive in the afternoon in Lake Manyara National Park before continuing to Karatu and Gibb's Farm for dinner.

You'll be staying in this tranquil setting on the Ngorongoro Highlands for the next three nights. Spend your first afternoon strolling around the 10 acre organic garden or learning more about this working coffee and vegetable producing farm.

Days 3-4

Descend the Ngorongoro Crater

Day three of your safari will see you driving to Lake Eyasi to spend time with and experience the culture of the Hadzabe and Datoga bushmen. Afterwards, enjoy a picnic lunch before your afternoon return and a visit to the children's centre.

The next day, you will embark on an exciting game drive in the Ngorongoro Crater accompanied with a delicious picnic lunch.

Days 5-7

Experience the Serengeti

Leave Gibb's Farm and drive to Serengeti National Park, stopping along the way to enjoy a picnic lunch. Embark on a game drive en route to your next and last accommodation, Serengeti Explorer Camp, where you will spend your last three nights.

The next two days will see you enjoying morning and afternoon game drives for an abundance of game viewing in this world-renowned National Park.

Day 8

Say farewell to Tanzania

In the morning transfer to the airstrip in the Serengeti for your scheduled flight to Arusha. Once there, proceed on to your onward connections.
