This package is a combination of two memorable African experiences: the Palace of the Lost City and the legendary 'Smoke That Thunders' - Victoria Falls. The grandeur of the destinations coupled with the fabulous accommodation means that this is an excellent honeymoon or romantic getwaway.

Day to Day Itinerary

Day 1

Arrive in the city of Gold

On arrival at Johannesburg's OR Tambo International Airport, you will be met and transferred to the Palace of the Lost City at Sun City. Settle in and spend the rest of the day relaxing beside the pool with a drink or take a leisurely stroll through the beautiful gardens and soak up the scale of this extraordinary destination.

Day 2-3

Relax at the Palace

The Palace is one of Africa's most ambitious hotels and raises the bar when it comes to innovative design and decor. Set within the fun-packed Sun City Resort, you have an exhaustive choice of activities that takes in watersports, game drives and hot-air balloon safaris, as well as offering keen golfers the chance to tee off on one of the two 18-hole championship golf courses. Be sure also to spend time in the magnificent Valley of the Waves or to try your luck in the casino.

Day 4

Travel to The Royal Livingstone

Leave Sun City after breakfast and return to Johannesburg where you'll catch a flight to Livingstone Airport in Zambia. On arrival, you will be met and transferred to The Royal Livingstone Hotel on the banks of the mighty Zambezi River.

This grand, colonial-style hotel is situated in Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park, allowing you to enjoy wildlife viewing even while at the hotel - zebra and impala often graze the lodge's lawns. Settle in and catch a glimpse of the mist rising from Victoria Falls, just a few hundred metres downstream.

Day 5

Explore the stunning Victoria Falls

The hotel is situated close to Victoria Falls which makes a visit both quick and easy. At this destination however there is a huge range of activities may be organised from the hotel or prior to travel - adventure addicts may want to go bungee jumping, white-water rafting or canoeing while the more sedate traveller will enjoy game drives, guided walking safaris, exceptional bird watching and sunset river cruises.

Other adventures include helicopter flights, elephant-back safaris and cultural village tours, and the hotel has a spa that offers massages and pampering beauty treatments.

Day 6

Return to Johannesburg

Transfer to Livingstone Airport after breakfast for your return flight to Johannesburg where you will meet your connecting flight home.
