Day to Day Itinerary

Day 1

Travel to Simbambili Game Lodge

Fly from Johannesburg to Nelspruit where you'll be met and transferred to the stunning Simbambili Game Lodge in the game-rich Sabi Sands Private Game Reserve. Situated on the Manyeleti River, this luxury safari lodge offers exceptional wildlife viewing and bird watching - leopard sightings are relatively common in this private reserve.
Days 2-3

Game drive in the Sabi Sands

Wake up early each morning for an expertly-led game drive to search for the Big 5 in this spectacular wilderness. Return to the lodge for breakfast and then head out with a tracker on a guided nature walk to view the environment from a different perspective as you spot birds, smaller animals and learn about local plants.

Cool off from the heat of the day by relaxing on your private deck and plunge pool while gazing out at the river, or pamper yourself with a treatment at the spa.

After your exciting evening game drive, enjoy dinner round the fire in the boma or in the privacy of your suite to end off a perfect day.

Day 4

Spend a night in Johannesburg

Return to the airport in Nelspruit to transfer back to Johannesburg for a night at the Peermont Metcourt and enjoy an entertaining evening at the ever-popular and fashionable Emperor's Palace casino and convention resort.

Day 5

Fly to exotic Mauritius

Transfer to the airport in Johannesburg for a flight to picturesque island of Mauritius and check in at your hotel - 20° Sud.

This intimate hotel is situated in an excellent location close to all the action - just a short boat ride across the bay will get you to the bustling resort town of Grand Baie.

Days 6-9

Relax on the island beaches

Spend your days exploring the popular resort town of Grand Baie and its many markets and restaurants, or take an excursion to a nearby tropical island for some quality relaxation. Alternatively, spend some time at the hotel's pool, go kite surfing in the bay, or relax on the beach with a good book and a delicious ice-cold cocktail.

Day 10

Fly back to South Africa

A private road transfer will take you back to the airport for your flight to Johannesburg. Your amazing holiday will end upon your arrival in the 'City of Gold'.
