Escape to the tranquil islands and beaches of the Seychelles on this well-balanced eight-day getaway, a perfect itinerary for honeymooners and romantics, or indeed anyone who wants to get away from it all and immerse themselves in the Indian Ocean lifestyle for a while. Kick off with four days at Desroches Island Resort, a beautiful resort tucked away in tropical vegetation and looking over a pristine beach, before another four days but this time at Ephelia Resort, set on one of Mahe's most beautiful beaches and overlooking a marine national park.

Experience massages and spa treatments plus a host of water-based activities such as snorkelling, kayaking or even surfing. The accommodation is wonderful, the dining excellent and you can even arrange to have your meals served at the ocean's edge for that extra-romantic appeal.

Day to Day Itinerary

Day 1

Transfer to the Desroches Island

Arrive at Seychelles International Airport where a 40-minute helicopter transfer will take you to Desroches Island Resort located on tiny Desroches Island, a low-lying island forming part of the outer islands of the Seychelles Archipelago.

Days 2-4

Relax on the sandy Desroches beaches

Remote and exclusive, Desroches Island features 14km of white sandy beaches and amazing coral reefs, and is all yours to explore over the next three days. Visit the local fishing village, stroll on pristine beaches, and select what you want to do from a list of activities such as scuba diving, snorkelling and sea kayaking.

Desroches Island is known for the quality of its diving: numerous dive sites surround the island and are home to thousands of brightly coloured tropical fish.

Spend part of the day at the Escape Spa to revitalise the mind and body. The spa offers a variety of treatments from massages and manicures to pedicures and facials. Desroches Island Resort prides itself on serving delicious Creole cuisine, either in a relaxed setting on the beach, under the trees or in its signature restaurant, Le Ve Loutier.

Day 5

Helicopter hop to Mahe

A short helicopter ride will take you to Mahe Island where you will be transferred to Ephelia Resort, situated on a beautiful beach on the Seychelles' biggest island. Settle in and begin your new Indian Ocean holiday chapter.

Days 6-7

Revitalise at the Ephelia Resort

Ephelia Resort overlooks a marine national park and is a multi-faceted resort - restaurants, pools, a spa, gym, kids club and tennis courts - in a beautiful location.

Sport-lovers will enjoy the non-motorised watersports on offer that include wind surfing, catamaran trips and kayaking, or they can enjoy a workout in the fully equipped gym and play a game of tennis or squash.

You can also enjoy scuba diving, yoga and fishing trips at this got-it-all resort. After all that exercise, what better to relax and revitalise body and mind at the Spa de Constance while the kids are entertained at the Kids Club, and you won't have to worry about getting the same food every night either: Ephelia Resort has five restaurants, each offering a unique dining concept and culinary experience.

Day 8

Say goodbye to the Seychelles

A transfer will take you back to Seychelles International Airport in time for your outbound journey and the end of your Seychelles getaway.
