One of the many interesting facts about Uganda is that the country is the proud home to three world heritage sites: the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park; the Rwenzori Mountains National Park; and the Tombs of Buganda Kings at Kasubi.

There are many places of interest in Uganda besides the Parks and Reserves. For those who want to chill a little after trekking and adventuring, the Ssese Islands on Lake Victoria offer an ideal spot for rest and recreation while another Lake Victoria destination is Ngamba Island where there is a sanctuary for captive chimpanzees.
