Gorilla Forest Camp is a unique luxury tented camp perched on the side of a mountain. The camp is located inside the boundaries of the National Park in Bwindi, overlooking it in a southerly direction.

Bwindi is situated near the geographical heart of Africa where the confluence of the Rift Valley and the Great Lakes has created a unique eco-system that is one of the most biologically diverse areas on Earth and is recognised by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.

In addition to being home to just over half of the world's remaining mountain gorillas, Bwindi contains numerous mammal, butterfly and bird species. You can appreciate this varied natural habitat by taking part in a guided forest walk or gorilla tracking expedition.

The Gorilla Forest Camp offers a bar and dining room overlooking the rain forest, as well as a raised natural platform for open-air dining. The chef and well-trained staff offer excellent cuisine and service in a unique setting

At night you can sit around the traditional African campfire where a lecture might be given by a visiting primatologist or the gorilla briefings are undertaken. Alternatively, you could simply admire the brilliance of Bwindi's crystal clear mountain sky.

Accommodation at Gorilla Forest Camp is in 8 luxurious double tents, each with en-suite facilities and a separate bathroom with the amazing experience of a bathtub looking out onto the forest.

Inside, the tents are roomy enough for 2 queen-sized beds with headboards carved by Ugandan artisans. All the tents also have large wooden decks where you can relax or enjoy private dining.
