Spend 3 days on a beautiful forested island on Lake Victoria, making friends with approx 40 chimpanzees which have been rescued from poachers.

Ngamba Island Chimpanzee Sanctuary is semi-wild environment which allows for close viewing of the chimpanzees in their natural habitat, and it will allow you to enjoy a day's forest walk with the mischievous chimps as they play in the forest and with you!

DAY 1: Entebbe - Ngamba Island
- Itinerary
  After a briefing on your safari, you take the boat from Entebbe pier to Ngamba Island. Depending on time of your arrival, you will have a choice of activities on Ngamba, such as feeding the chimpanzees, or bird watching.
  Overnight at Ngamba Island Camp.

DAY 2: Ngamba Island
- Itinerary
  You can feed the chimps again today or go bird watching.
  If you have had the required set of medical inoculations, a forest walk with the chimps is a unique experience. The playful chimps climb on you, pull your hair, or just walk along holding your hand. (You must have specific up-to-date vaccinations for this activity, which is restricted to 3 people at any 1 time, and you should ask for further details before booking).
  Overnight at Ngamba Island Camp.

DAY 3: End Of Tour
- Itinerary
  You say goodbye to your furry friends and get a boat transfer back to Entebbe in time for your flight.
