Football for a Better World

During the 56th FIFA Congress in Munich on 7-8 June 2006, the football world-governing body announced a new vision for the coming years.

With the slogan "Develop the game, touch the world, build a better future”, FIFA intends to anchor its key values of authenticity, integrity, performance and unity all around the world and accept its social responsibility through a "Football for a better world” alliance, which was approved during the Congress.

The goal of this alliance is to create a fund through cooperation with several governmental and nongovernmental organisations in order to implement the vision of building a better future for the less favoured countries.
