Land at Lusaka International Airport, where a representative will transfer you, by air, to Kafue National Park. On arrival you'll meet your private guide, who'll take you to Lufupa Camp.

The park comprises diverse habitats, and offers great opportunities for spotting large mammals. You may see prides of lion, or leopard, and there are always hippos wallowing in the Kafue River.

Combine your transfer to Musanza Tented Camp with an early morning game drive. The camp is located in the Busanga Plains, an area frequented by a large variety of wildlife.

The dominant antelope species of the area include red lechwe and puku, but buffalo, kudu and bushbuck are also often spotted. Predators are also to be seen on the plains, with lions, cheetah and spotted hyena often nearby.

Wake up early for breakfast and transfer to Busanga Bush Camp, which is situated on the Busanga floodplain in the Kafue National Park

In addition to sightings of the rare lechwe and puku, there are often sightings of buffalo or elephant herds. There are almost always predators in hot pursuit, giving you the chance to see lion and leopard on the prowl.
