The following details relate to holders of adult normal passports (requirements for children may be different), if any other type of passport or travel document is held, entry requirements should be checked with the relevant embassy or consulate
Required by all
Passports must be valid 6 months from date of entry, which must contain at least 2 blank pages.
The following DO NOT require a visa:
1) Nationals of Zambia
2) For stays up to 3 months by nationals of Angola, Antigua & Barbuda, Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Botswana, Brunei Darussalam, Congo (democratic republic), Cyprus, Dominica, Fiji, Grenada, Guyana, Ireland Rep, Jamaica, Kenya, Kiribati, Lesotho, Madagascar, Malawi, Malaysia, Maldives, Malta, Mauritius, Montenegro, Mozambique, Namibia, Nauru, Romania, Samoa, Serbia, Seychelles, Singapore, Solomon Islands, South Africa, St. Kitts & Nevis, St. Lucia, St. Vincent & Grenadines, Swaziland, Tanzania, Tonga, Trinidad & Tobago, Tuvalu, Uganda, Vanuatu & Zimbabwe
British passport holders can obtain a visa on arrival for a fee though it is recommended to obtain a visa prior to arrival. Please contact neares Embassy/consulate for more information.
Entry requirements may change from time to time and should be checked with the High Commission of Zambia
Required by all except those as noted above and:
1) Persons continuing their journey to another country by the same or first connecting aircraft within 24 hours providing holding confirmed onward tickets and documents for their onward journey & not leaving the airport. A visa is required for an overnight stop
