The Albida Suite at Chongwe River Camp lies on the banks of the picturesque Chongwe and Zambezi rivers, providing a magnificent view of the escarpment to the north.

The tents are custom-designed and built with organic ferro walling interspersed with natural wood, offering pure luxury yet still retaining the spirit of the bush. Guests have the option of booking the entire suite for the duration of their stay, ensuring that their privacy and seclusion are guaranteed.

Activities at Chongwe River Camp are plentiful and diverse and range from game drives, including night drives in the park or along the Chongwe River, through to walking safaris, cruising, fishing and canoeing.

Enormous herds of elephant are often seen at the rivers' edge and the park is also home to large populations of lion and leopard. Other animals that can be seen at the park are buffalo, hippo, waterbuck, zebra and crocodiles.

A thrilling night drive could bring you face to face with a variety of nocturnal animals like hyena, porcupine, civet, genet and honey badger. The area is a birdwatcher's paradise with an exceptional birdlife found along the riverbanks.

The owners of Chongwe River Camp occasionally surprise their guests with special dinners and picnics out in the bush surrounded by nature and wildlife.

The 2 rooms of the Albida Suite share a lounge and dining area that overlook a private plunge pool and the Zambezi River. The en suite deluxe rooms are separate octagonal tents with gauze windows on 7 sides and inter-leading pathways and gardens.

The bathrooms have a canvas roof but are open to the bush with a bath, double basins and double shower - one shower is under cover and one is open air.
