Zebra Plains, Walking Safari Camp is a luxury four tented safari camp situated on a sand bank where the Luangwa and Chibembe Rivers meet. The camp is within the South Luangwa National Park, a wildlife reserve with massive populations of game.

Zebra Plains Camp is surrounded by unspoilt landscape which provide the best area for various wildlife populations such as zebra, giraffe, elephant, buffalo, and puku antelope as well as many bird species. The surrounding plains are home to predators such as lion, leopard and wild dog; while the rivers are packed with hippo and crocodile.

Since the camp is limited and exclusive, your expertly guided walking safaris are intimate, allowing you to explore all that the bush has to offer.

Guided walks occur twice a day by trained and armed experts.

On foot, your walking safari day is full of adventure and when you would like to stop and refresh, a tea bearer will prepare fresh cups of tea or coffee in the bush using a stainless steel kettle on a traditional fire.

When returning to camp, the staff offer hands-on hospitality aimed at creating luxurious comfort in the bush.

Watch the sun set over the African landscape while sipping on a drink from the bar area or read more about the sights you experienced that day, in the library area.

Zebra Plains is a luxury safari camp with four spacious and traditionally decorated tents.

There are two double tents and two twin tents.

The limited accommodation allows you an intimate exploration of the South Luangwa National Park and exclusive hands-on hospitality.

Each tent has a comfortable bed, campaign furniture, mosquito nets, en suite shower and flushing toilet facilities.

If you would like to use the outside shower, your desired temperature will be created by your tent attendant.
