Tafika Lodge is a seasonal camp set in the South Laungwa National Park and offering a personalised and private wildlife-viewing experience.
Accommodating a maximum of only 12 guests at a time, this camp has been the home of John and Carol Coppinger since 1995, and is open seasonally between May and November, when many new-borns make their arrival. Tafika has an open-plan dining and living area as well as an expansive lawn with beautiful river views.
Spend your day on game drives or on a walking safari to nearby Chikoko Tree Camp. Alternatively, set out on a mountain bike ride through the bush, or for the more adventurous, a microlight flight over the area is a thrilling way to experience the beauty of this location.
Enjoy a relaxing afternoon in a river-side hammock, spend some time in the hide or visit the nearby Mkasanga Village and learn more about the local culture and traditions.
Tafika Lodge is secluded, remote, and the ideal base from which to explore the Luangwa bushveld.
