Mchenja, meaning 'the ebony tree', is located on the banks of the Luangwa River, in the South Luangwa National Park - rated as one of the finest wildlife sanctuaries in the world.

Spend your free time in the camp's comfortable lounge, where you can relax between safaris, or browse through the small library in the open-plan reading and dining area. Mchenja Camp has a shaded plunge pool for those who want to cool off during the heat of the day.
