Imagine staying just a five or ten minute stroll from one of the natural wonders of the world.
The hotels on the Zambian side are set along the Upper Zambezi, and look out across the river to the incredible cloud of spray.
Those on the Zimbabwean side are downstream of the Falls, and some also include the railway bridge in their incredible views.
The colonial-style Royal Livingstone hotel is set on the banks of the Zambezi, and is just a short walk from the Falls, along a beautiful, private footpath. The hotel has lovely grounds complete with zebra, vevet monkeys and even the occasional elephant. This is a great place to kick back and relax, especially on the deck overlooking the spray, with a cocktail in hand.
The design of the Kingdom at Victoria Falls (Zimbabwe) is based on the Great Zimbabwe Monument in Masvingo. Spacious rooms face either onto the central manmade lake, or directly onto the game park where you may spot warthog or monkeys right on your doorstep.
A short footpath leads to the entrance of the Victoria Falls National Park.
