Standard waterfront development on the Zambezi River, not far from Victoria Falls.
Zambezi River Cruises - the Waterfront offers a 100-passenger double-decker river cruise boat.
Activities - a wide range of falls activities are on offer at the Zambezi Waterfront.
Affordable - a budget option is available for travellers wishing to be close to the falls.
The Zambezi Waterfront offers a tented village and a campsite, as well as chalets. There's a central dining complex with stunning views both up and downstream, where the Victoria Falls can be seen clearly.
A raised wooden deck stretches out over the river and there is a unique plunge pool where water appears to spill over into the river. An open bar with satellite TV and a restaurant area, reception, travel centre, merchandising shop, upstairs lounge with pool table and dart board, and an internet café complete the facilities offered.
Activities available at the Zambezi Waterfront include game drives through Mosi-Oa-Tunya National Park, white water rafting, abseiling, gorge swings, kayaking, elephant-back rides and fishing.
Excursions include helicopter and microlight flips over the falls, tours of Chief Makuni Village, sunset or breakfast river cruises and tours of Livingstone, which include the Livingstone and Railway Museums, and the Curio/Craft markets.
The Zambezi Waterfront is situated 4km upstream from Victoria Falls, opposite Siloka Island, Zambia.
